Collection Tin Managment

Hi all


Does anyone have a solution for managing collection tins via Raiser's Edge? We are looking for a way to book them in and out, be able to query outstanding tins (i.e. that have been out for a certain length of time and not returned) and record the income we get from them easily.

I'd create a constituent record for each tin. When someone signs out the tin, put their name and date from in the relationship field, with relationship of "tin signed out" and "individual" (or something similiar)  when they return the tin, you can update the relationship to tin returned, and put a end date on the relationship.


When the donations from the tin come in, you can add them to that tin as a "gift" on their constituent record.
