Donation / Credit Card issue for International addresses

We discovered that a credit card transaction made through our giving page, was automatically reversed because the issuing bank outside the U.S. does not support AVS.  How do we fix or edit the preferred action based on AVS response codes?

    If you have transactions being declined due to AVS you'll want to take a look at those settings with your credit card processor. If you use BBMS we have the steps to make those changes here: https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/57321.


    To accept international transactions but still provide the security for US donors with banks who participate in AVS, I would suggest setting it to Light. This will still require they pass the AVS check if the bank participates, but will allow transactions to be approved for banks that do not participate.
