Export multiple batch grids at one time?

So here's a question...

I need to do an overhaul of the gift data in my org's RE. I'm finding what are like tree rings over the years as each data entry person chose to enter gifts differently for their own reporting preferences/comfort levels (generally each ring is consistent, which is good!). Over the years, that has led to almost completely different data entry decisions! In the earlier years, especially, we have some gifts entered without a full understanding of the ramifications for the RE software, though plain reporting of queries or batches should be fine. (For example - "recurring gift" or "pledge" were used in interesting ways instead of using the Payment functions...and there are several "Other" gifts that were credit card or check payments instead of literally Cash....Luckily, there aren't very many of these kinds of things.)


I'm also wanting to reassign certain fields where they aren't used optimally - for example, Gift Subtype currently records the payment method, in addition to the actual payment method section.


I don't want to lose the original batch information when I delete them, since it's valuable for figuring out what was going on with data entry. There were a number of adjustments in the early years that are somewhat opaque without seeing the batch.


Is there a way to export the batch grids in bulk? I know I can do a big query dump of all gift details, but that doesn't show the original data entry if there have been adjustments/changes, and it's the originals that I want to preserve outside of RE. We don't have a huge number of batches (under 1,000) but anything more than a few is a big headache to do one-by-one.
