Sustaining Gift - Designation and no Duration

We are wanting to set up a Sustaining Gift form for donors to make a recurring gift online that has a drop down for their designation, but no duration. They call us when they want to stop their gift. It seems that I cannot have the designation drop down without the duration. Has anyone had any workarounds for this?

We have tried the Forever Sustainer Donation Level, but it will not let us add a designation drop down. We have also tried the Flexible Designated Giving Donation Level, but it includes the duration, which we don not want on our form.

Have you tried the Designated Giving Donation Level? The donor can choose a designation and enter an amount, and if they choose to make a recurring gift then you can set the frequency and duration on the backend when creating/editing the form.
