Getting EmailFinder results into Luminate

Our organization uses Luminate for all email communication and online donations, and Raiser's Edge is our CRM (we use RELO to integrate). We recently conducted Blackbaud's EmailFinder service which instructs us to download those results into Raiser's Edge. No one has been able to direct me to any resources about how to get these emails into Luminate, which renders the results rather worthless in my view. Complicating the situation is that for those constituents who already had a valid email and were opted-in, I would not want to overwrite that email with a newly-found email address. Just looking for any guidance, if anyone using LO has done EmailFinder and figured out what to do with it. Thanks!

    We also use RELO and are about to run the Finder service. I am preparing myself to have to run some imports, to essentially change the email type from EmailFinder to Email, so that it syncs over to LO. I'm searching the Community to ensure that's the "right" way to do this. But I'm with you...I feel like there needs to be a guide for RELO users who run the Finder service! (A little help, Blackbaud!)

    Thanks Julie. I am going to do that for some of the records as well. One of the pieces I am mostly struggling with is the opt-out. Blackbaud has confirmed that if they are in LO with an opted out email, even if I now add a new email that will sync over, it will remain opted out in LO. (Despite the process whereby Email Finder sends an opt-in/opt-out email to the new addresses so we could consider them now opted in.)

    I'm also going to do some queries so that I don't change EmailFinder to Email in cases where the donor IS getting email at an existing, different address. We've noticed some of the EmailFinder results are wrong, or for a spouse, an ex, etc. so I will deem existing emails better if they are on the record.
