Cuseum & Digital Membership Query Help

We recently signed a contract with Cuseum for our digital membership cards. I am working on the query that will be used to send the digital cards to our members. One thing that I am stuck on is getting the Secondary Member name on the same line as the Primary Member name. I tried Knowledgebase 110705, but it sends the info to a second line, in turn, making a duplicate record. Does anyone have a solution for this?? I've included a screenshot of my current query without the secondary member output field.

Also, secondary question...does your query only include those that have emails? How do you keep track of members who cannot receive digital membership cards (no smart phone/no email)?

Thanks!

  • Hi Kaitlin,

Did you get your Cuseum query fixed? We are going live with e-membership cards next week and I'm having problems with the query. I can get member name and spouse name on same row, but I cannot get spouse email on there without creating duplicate rows. The sample query they gave me only has the one email for primary member -- does that member just get two emails -- one with a link for their card and one with a link for their spouse/partner?

    Thanks!!

  • Hey Christina!

Happy to help. We chose to have one email sent to the primary member. Mostly because we've only ever asked for one email for each membership. So, that means that the primary member will get one email, download the card (the card has both names on it), then share the card with their spouse. I think Cuseum is ok with having duplicate rows if the difference is the email address (but you might want to double check).

So, it think it comes down to your preference of whether you'd like each member to get their own email or if you'd like just the primary member to get the email and then share the card. I hope this helps! Thanks! Kaitlin
