Receipt Printers

We have constant issues on and off with our Epson receipt printers and Altru. I do not know if it is the program or the printer but we are looking into new printers to see if that works. Does anyone have recommendations on a brand that interfaces really well with Altru? Our current ones either do not print at all or take a solid minute to decide to print. We've had a tech company come in to look and they also can not diagnose the problem. Thanks for any help!

    Liz,

    We use Epson
    printers (and have been for a while) and they print really fast
    with Altru.  I do remember a couple of years ago we had to
    upgrade the port on the back of the machine and that made them run
    faster.

     

    Just thought
    this may help.  Feel free to reach out. Our IT is outsourced
    so I play a lot of IT for us in house (and then a lot of
    communicating back and forth between our IT and Altru support for
    things like this). I know it can be super frustrating and I know
    how tight budgets can be (especially right now).
