Comparison Report RE

What's the best way to run a year-to-year comparison report? I'd like to see a couple things. One: Donations from 1/1/19-today's date last year, compared to 1/1/20-today's date. Two: I'd like to compare January-September 2019 to October-December 2019.

How would you run these reports? I tried the Comparison/Summary Report, but was having some issues. Maybe I'm not doing it right.

I'd use the comparison report. It's not a report I've run much so not real familiar with all the intricacies.

Have you looked in Knowledgebase for help? Here's link to a solution for how to run the Comparison Report. There are also ones for if numbers don't match or other problems.
