Luminate Ecommerce Monthly gift

I hope that I can explain this correctly.


As a not for profit, our yearly gift catalogue is usually made up using pages and donation forms, however this year we though we would try out the eCommerce section and build out a store.

I have run into an issue though, the products don't seem to be able to handle recurring payment. 


Is there any workaround to this?

Hi Sam, as you've seen, the Luminate Ecommerce functionality is oriented around the one-time transaction / checkout experience, and does not offer recurring options.  You could potentially use the shopping grand total amount in a link to a recurring Donation form (or use the Donation API to start a monthly gift) but it would lose the cart details unless they were captured using custom donation questions. The inventories (if applicable) would also not change.
