How do you handle the RE database relationship with the LO database?

When the organization got Luminate it was established that a user only be added to RE if they made a financial donation or were a volunteer. This has led to multiple instances of a record in Luminate having a duplicate Luminate record tied to a RE record. and therefor improper contact coding. So sometimes they slip through our filters.


How do you handle the two databases? Merge them completely or some other form of hybridization?

I think we're essentially using them merged completed with RELO. We have very few instances of a subscriber who is just an email address...we automatically ask them for address info...so they are upgraded to a constituent in RE.

That comes with new challenges! Ie, more investment in a record band.
