Amazon Charity Lists

Is anyone familiar with Amazon Charity Lists? In the process of registering there is a question regarding the following (below).


Our agency is registered with CA, and I've been researching how it applies to other states? 

• Comprehensive Registration Learn more: State statutes usually require organizations to register with the state before they solicit the state's residents for contributions. Select this option if your organization is registered in every state that requires registration for your type of organization. You can also select this option if your type of organization is exempt.
• Limited Registration Learn more: Your organization is registered only in select regions/states, such as the state you primarily operate in. You can still have a Charity List if you select this option, but Amazon may not be able to feature your Charity List in marketing campaigns.

Hi SherryAnne,


If you are a 501(c)(3), then I'm pretty sure you are "exempt" and could choose the all inclusive registration. I just looked up my org and that's what we are marked as.


In your shoes, if that unsure, then I'd start with the limited and change it once you have verified that you are okay to.
