Pop-Up Donation Form?

Hi all, I am a current Online Express user. I was recently approached by a company called FundraiseUp and I am trying to learn if this makes sense for my organization, as it integrates with Blackbaud NXT.


You can see an example of their solution on the UNICEF website. Their donation form appears as a pop up on the donate page, and when a user starts the donation process, and then abandons, a donate widget follows them around the site. The donate form also uses AI to make recommended dollar amounts for the donation, among other features.


Since I don't use Luminate, I need to know if Luminate has features similar to this, or if the donation page options are more similar to that of Online Express.

To my knowledge, LO doesn't have an abandon process like this. That sounds neat! LO does have some tools to recommend dollar amounts (perhaps other users can speak to this; I'm still learning so I basically served donors a preset email/form rather than one that populates via LO recommendation automatically). 


I'm disappointed that I haven't been able to get a straight answer about Blackbaud Checkout inside LO (see my other recent post). Just a quasi-related grievance.

We have managed to create a shopping cart experience where the cart follows you around and you can keep browsing and adding funds to your cart. It's not something that is offered out of the box and requires a lot of technical knowledge, it essentially uses the donate api's and a custom front-end.

To show dynamic amounts, we are thinking of using the autologin feature from emails and based on what group a person belongs to, we could show custom-tailored amounts and catch-all default donation amounts when we don't have any information on the user.
