Calculating Mid-Year GPAs for Seniors

I am having trouble getting my first semester cumulative GPA calculation correct using the Old Transcript Builder. It calculates correctly when I only include semester classes from this year. It doesn't when I include full year classes that I have assigned to give mid-year credit to. Here is the calculation I am using (we don't weight our GPA):

sum((GPA equivalent 1) * Credits Earned) / sum(Credits Attempting). It doesn't seem to matter whether I use credits attempting or attempted. I tried all combinations and always get full year courses listed 2x in the calculation - once for 0.5 credit and once for 1.0 credit which is the problem.

I should add that 9th grade classes are not shown 2x just 10th and 11th grade. 12th is also fine since it is just a semester.

I figured it out. It had to do with which grades/grade plan were included in the GPA calculation.
