First name not populating in test messages

I'm testing a message before I send it to donors - I'm sending it to myself and our coordinator, and the first name S tag is not populating - the message is using my first name for all messages. If our coordinator sends the messages, the S tag fills with her name - even if the message comes to me. I have tested several different messages and campaigns and they are all doing this. Anyone else experiencing this?

This should be an issue that support can assist with. But if you are running into issues with support, can you post the html code you are using so we can see if there is an error with the s-tag syntax?


Also, can you describe how you are testing?

Hi Amanda,


It won't populate if you just sent a regular test message (Step 6. Send Review Email, Step 2. Test the message). You need to create a reviewer group and send to that group instead. Then your S Tags will appear.


So on Step 6. Send Review Email, Use Step 3. Send this message to the Reviewer List.


You can set up your reviewer list by going into the campaign and in the secondary menu, choosing Audience. On the third menu choose Reviewer List and you can add your group. (Note: you will need to have created a reviewer group already to add it, it won't let you create one in these screens)
