Applying an appeal to a membership in Daily Sales

Hi everyone,


New to ALTRU here! Our organization is currently transitioning from Raiser's Edge to ALTRU. Looking for a recommendation, or possibly a work-around......


Our membership department does an annual appeal in the spring. We have always been able to categorize those who join with the appeal, including those who join IN PERSON/ON SITE. This helps us to better track the appeal's success, and a significant portion are done in person at our front desk.


This would be daily sales in ALTRU, but an appeal cannot be applied in daily sales to a membership (or even edited later to apply the appeal).


Are there any ALTRU users with enough experience that can offer some alternatives for us to make this happen?

Hi Allison,

Just a thought... You could try using a membership attribute. If you have a lot, you can batch upload them. Attributes are very easy to add to queries and exports. It is really difficult to not be able to attach appeals to orders. Crossing my fingers they will add that functionality soon!
