2020 P2P Fundraising Study Preview & Using TeamRaiser for Galas

During Wednesday's Peer to Peer Forum Pre-Conference Workshop, I shared a preview of the soon-to-be-released 2020 P2P Fundraising Study. Here are some of the stats shared during the webinar:

• Registrations and fundraising by month, and overall trends for the year
• Fundraising information such as fundraising averages, percent fundraising, average number of gifts, donations average, and percent personal donors, both overall numbers as well as segmented into five campaign categories (fee-based, no fee, cycle, challenge, and DIY)
• Other interesting data points on Facebook fundraising, primary vs. secondary fundraisers, team size, email senders, and retention.

I also shared four overarching priorities to keep in mind as you plan your 2021 P2P campaigns, as well as some excellent examples of those priorities in action from some of your TeamRaiser peers.


To round out the session, Eugene Astone from Deloitte Canada showed off some impressive examples of using TeamRaiser to power galas, including registration, team/table formation, auctions, livestreaming and more.

I'm at Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (past two years). Big $10K question, that I'm sure other enterprise non-profits would be interested in.


Will there ever be a Blackbaud product to help clients integrate Facebook livestreaming donations directly into TeamRaiser child events? The way that BB's Facebook Fundraiser product donations (which we use for our peer-to-peer events) integrates directly into TeamRaiser? FYI - we don't use BB's P2P Fundraising product (since it's powered by "Just Giving" and don't have plans to. We use a 3rd party credit card processor (IATS) and the BB Facebook Fundraiser product works with IATS.
