You may want to contact Blackbaud and ask about their Altru Payment Terminal (EMV). The payment terminal is a chip, swipe, and tap CC device. We've just started trying it out, so far so good.

Was your organization a part of Altru's testing for the EMV readers? I've been trying to get my hands on one and I've signed up to participate in their testing, but I haven't heard anything.

Our organization was able to get the Verifone payment terminals through our account manager at Altru. You may be able to get more information regarding the payment terminal from your Altru contact!

Are you running into this auto renew issue where if a membership was sold in daily sales with the readers, and set to autorenewal, they are NOT renewing? I just talked to an organization today and they said they have known for months! Altru just informed us, and there are over 900 records impacted.

Hi @Maria Reynolds, we have not implemented auto renewal for memberships, so we have not encountered that issue. I just received the email today from Blackbaud informing me about that issue, so I guess they're starting to contact organizations about it. Wish I could have been of more help.
