Two-step email verification and opt-in pending status

So we have had to implement two-step email verification because we have been hit a couple of times with spam bots that added thousands of email addresses to our lists. The verification process works quite well except for the fact that LO still allows new supporters to transact one-time gifts and sustaining gifts before they complete the two-step verification process. We have four such supporters at this time.


The problem for me is that these constituent records in LO are not available to be updated via our IOM synch processes. I have asked Blackbaud and they say that there is no way to re-send the request to the supporter to confirm their email!!


Has anyone else experienced this and if what have you done about it?
