Importomatic and RE

Hi everyone,


I inherited a series of import tables from my predecessor, and I personally had used Importomatic before, but never had to set it up. I gave it a shot and nothing uploaded.


I feel like I am missing the Import ID, and this may be a dumb question, but where would I find that?


The data is in CSV form, so that part seems to work.

If you want to view on a db view record you need to go to record > File > Properties and it will show Import ID as one of the pieces of data.


If you need for a group of records you will want to run a query and/or export to pull the data. It's a field option under constituent information.


Depending on what you're importing, you don't have to have an ID if you're bringing in new records.

When you say "nothing uploaded", do you mean they were all exceptions, or it processed all the rows but didn't change anything on the records? If they were exceptions, what was the error message in the exceptions file?
