NXT Online Donation Forms - Tribute Functionality?

Hi, we're in the process of migrating to Raiser's Edge NXT from another product. In looking into online donation forms, I like the NXT form builder; however I don't see an option for adding Tribute functionality to the NXT donation form - as it exists in the RE Online Express form builder. Is Tribute functionality available in the NXT version and I'm just not seeing it?


Also, I haven't found a way in NXT online donation form builder to mark one of the gift options as the suggested / default chosen amount (from what I see, the form comes up with the lowest amount chosen by default). Eg, for selecting from a set including $25, $50, $100, $200, Other - the form comes up with the lowest amount ($25) selected by default. In Online Express, it's possible to set the default to a higher amount (e.g., $50). Is this possible to do in the NXT online donation form builder?

I don't think either option is available yet, but I do believe that the ability to accept Tribute donations is coming soon. I don't know a timeframe, and Blackbaud may not either at this point, but I do remember hearing some talk about it in one of the roadmap sessions held in the last month or two.


I would definitely recommend tapping in to a few resources to make sure you are constantly informed about updates:

• Subscribe to the NXT blog if you haven't already. You'll get updates every other week with new features.
• Review this list of customer success / new adoption sessions. Anything that has already happened is available on demand, and it is well worth your time to hear directly from Blackbaud.
• Check out the "Ideas" and "Recent Release Information" in the horizontal navigation menu at the top of the community pages.
  • Blackbaud pays attention to the idea bank, so look for things you want implemented and vote for them! They have also broken items down into sections where you can see what is going to be implemented.
  • Recent release info is a great place to review to see if new functionality was added to an area of the database, or if you had heard something was implemented and wanted to verify.
