Can I create a workflow that only assigns actions to one or 2 fundraisers, not all on the records?

Hi there, We have a group of Relationship Managers who some would like actions for their new donations and some want to download the gift reports and prefer not to get actions. Is there a way for me to create a workflow that will first check WHO the fundraiser on the account is before assigning the action?


I know you can select which fundraiser as the 4th option, but my understanding is that will assign that fundraiser to ALL constituents, regardless of their previous fundraisers assigned.

We almost need a condition set of “if fundraiser = xxx, then assign action for…” Can this be done?

I don't think so. The option of "First Active Fundraiser" is not very useful

I have built out a few flows to automate various things within my system including daily gift notifications and monthly upcoming opportunity notifications, which are scheduled to send information to my team. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Zoe- I think we have built out the workflow you are looking for. I created a list that starts with filtering on an individual fundraiser, then I add in recent gift, or whatever else you want to filter on. Then when I create the workflow, I make sure to select the option for “specific assignment” and select the same fundraiser who I selected in my list.

This has been working for us to alert fundraisers for recent gifts from donors in their portfolios, upcoming birthdays, and new additions to their portfolios.

Unfortunately, this system means that you have to create a separate workflow for each fundraiser. Could be kind of time consuming depending on how many fundraisers want this set up!
