Blackbaud MobilePay Terminal

I work for a non-profit with about 60 staff. Our organization is exploring Blackbaud MobilePay Terminal, having used Blackbaud MobilePay for the past couple of years (approximately). We loved Blackbaud MobilePay, but a few concerns we have with the new application including:

1. How long do the Terminals stay charged? How do others handle ensuring they are charged up before on the fly meetings?
2. Do the Terminals handle heat/cool weather well (i.e., if charging in a car)? and
3. How do other organizations handle over the phone transactions on their Development team? Since the Terminal requires a card be in person, whereas MobilePay allowed for keying in a number if it wasn't present.

I would greatly appreciate feedback from others who have made the transition to Blackbaud MobilePay Terminal. Thank you!

These are great questions. I'm not sure how many organizations have had a chance to use the new MobilePay Terminals.

I have one MobilePay Terminal/iPad set up and ready for someone to use at an event within the next week. My plan is to charge both the night before. I'm they won't need charging during the event, because I'm not the person using them.
