My Raisers Edge database keeps freezing.

My Raisers Edge database freezes every 10 or 15 minutes after I log in. Anybody else have experience with this?

    Hi @Norlaine King - This happens occasionally. I have found that logging completely out of the system, and sometimes go the extra step to reboot my computer, helps fix this sometimes. There have a been a few reports today on the Facebook group of other users experiencing this too, so you are not alone.

  • We have been having ongoing and sporadic problems with database view. It takes forever to open, it's sluggish once we're in, it freezes periodically, forcing users to terminate session or reboot. It's very frustrating. We have had a couple of tickets in with BB support. They checked our NetCommunity URL as one possibility, which seemed to help a bit. They have now asked for logs from our users to assist in troubleshooting, so we're in the process of collecting that feedback for them now.

    Hi @Amelia Ketzle - I recommend you also get your Account Rep and Customer Success Manager involved. They will be able to assist you navigating cases + support, and can help you escalate things if needed.

  • We have been having horrible issues of freezing for MONTHS. So bad that half of us had to track each time it happened (in db view for RE and FE). No resolution yet.
