Using Suggested Ask Amounts in Email

I just watched the tutorial on using the E88 tag to insert a suggestion amount in an email based on someone's giving history (https://blackbaud.sitefinity.cloud/industry-insights/power-of-luminate-online). I would like to test this in an upcoming email but have a few quick questions. I would be grateful for anyone's help:

• For our dynamic donation form amounts, we use "Dynamic Most Significant Gift". Will last_trans_amount pull in this figure or would I need something different?
• Is there a way to hide the .00 when the suggested amount is shown in the email?
• Is this compatible with URL shortcuts? We use these for our renewal emails but discovered that the shortcut needs "autologin=true" - if this is included in the URL you're redirecting to, it does not log in donors.
• Does this work best when the ask string is fixed or also when there's a dynamically generated ask string?
• If I use this code to suggest an amount that is among the donation levels shown on the form, would the amount be entered into the user-entered Other field? or would the appropriate donation level be selected?
