Advocacy Actions in Health Care Organizations

Hi All,

My DBA and I have been communicating on Advocacy Actions and how we can use them at our organization. BlackBaud describes Advocacy Actions in relation to legislation purposes. We are wondering, how do other healthcare organizations use this function and/or how they have repurposed it for their organization?

I don't have an answer to what you are asking specifically, but I do want to let you know that the Category of “Advocacy” does not exist in webview - only in database view. In fact, if you add one in database view, it does not show up in webview.

So whatever you do, I would recommend using the Task/Other category, and further refining with your Action Types so that the information is correct between the two views.
