Visitation Report per Membership

Has anyone built a report that would total the number of visits per membership in a given year? I'm wanting to look at what percentage of our members actually come to our museum. Any thoughts on how to build that out? Thanks!

NO but I have used the Total Number of Visits Smart Field a few times. Following your request though as it is a bit more detailed.

We have been struggling with this. I frequently get requests for “average member visitation last year” and it's difficult to explain why this issue is so complicated so I made a graphic to help show why we can't use a fixed year with memberships that have differing start/end dates:

We also have had difficulties getting accurate totals with the visitation smart field so we don't use that either. When I spot check it against a record's sales orders, it frequently doesn't match up. Plus it counts at the constituent level, not membership level, so if you have two constituents on a membership, you'd need to export it out for both of them and manually add it to get the membership total visits.

I'd love to find the best way to calculate visitation.

Did you ever successfully build a report for this? We have a few queries that seem to get me close but there's a number discrepancy between my reports and GA membership attendance counts (by too much to ignore). So I know that I'm missing something.
