Dates showing incorrectly

Hi all!

The other day I committed a batch of donations that we had received from Benevity. I then made a query to find those donations, and was surprised when I wasn't able to find anything. I did some digging and it looks like although I definitely put in the correct dates in the batch, the dates are incorrect on the gifts that were submitted in that batch. Specifically, I put in the Gift Date as 3/1/23 and GL Post Date as 3/15/23, but on the gift itself, those dates are reversed. I'm waiting to hear back from Blackbaud Support, but in the meantime I thought I'd see if anyone here has any ideas as to what I could have done incorrectly?

I submit these batches from Benevity at least 1-2 times per month and go through the exact same process each time, and I've never had this issue before. I'm stumped!

@Amy Truax Any chance this batch got marked as recurring and the dates in the commit area were reversed? I have gotten the wrong dates when forgetting that step when committing a recurring batch.

@Dan Snyder this was my first thought too, as it is a recurring batch. However, I double checked this and it appears to be correct. Unless you're talking about something else other than what I'm showing in the screenshot?

@Amy Truax Welcome to the BB Community forums.

Going to jump is as Dan's Eastern time and likely done for the week. I think he is referring to the dates entered when you go to commit the batch. Check what dates are on tab 3 of the commit process. These dates can be different than those in your batch setup.

@JoAnn Strommen oh right! yes, I checked those ones too. All of them were correct.
