Donation Forms and Google Tag Manager

Has anyone found any documentation from Blackbaud on how to pass donation details from Luminate to Google Tag Manager? We are looking to pass all transaction information to Google Tag Manager so that we can capture and report on it within GA4. The information that we’d want to capture would include details such as: transaction ID, donation amount, donation form name/form ID, type of donation (monthly vs. one-time vs. tribute), donation currency, etc.

We have not be able to find a help article from Blackbaud that specifies the Luminate variables that we need to reference in order to populate this information within the JavaScript code that will send this data to Tag Manager.

Good afternoon! Before I start to research, I want to make sure I am understanding your question. I have a few questions-
1. Are you trying to pass information about offline donations? Or other donations made outside of your Luminate Online system?
2. Do you currently have Google Tag Manager working on your website?
3. Do you currently have Google Tag Manager working on your online donation forms?

Thanks Elizabeth! We are trying to track online donations that are completed for a campaign. We are working with an agency who is setting up Google Tag Manager for us (cleaning up a bit of what we do have setup already as well). They will be adding it to our donation forms and website. They were looking for this documentation to be able to capture the transaction details.

Another source to share with your third-party provider is our Luminate Online API documentation. It may help them to know what methods and parameters are defined for REST and SOAP calls. Here are few of the methods that may help:
