Pushpage issue creation error

We are experiencing a problem when creating a new weekly issue of a pushpage template. While editing the issue we are being kicked out (Oops something went wrong message). Some times only the most recent changes are lost. Other times the entire contents of the issue are lost despite having saved several times. We are unable to reproduce the problem on demand, but it occurs frequently enough (almost weekly) to be a pain. We have contacted support, but with the inability to reproduce the problem on demand they aren't much help.

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem or is this unique to us?

  • @Brent Wilhelm Is this a template you've used many times? I was having issues with our weekly parent enews too, so I recreated the template and the issues went away. I now recreate the template every year and haven't had issues.

  • @Lynn Egan Thanks for the suggestion Lynn. I will give that a shot. We are on our 10th issue on the template in question.

  • @Brent Wilhelm is the problem discussed on this thread the same as the one you are experiencing?

    I have noticed I am kicked out upon saving a pushpage if I do any of the following:

    1. Don't save often enough
    2. Impersonate someone; stop impersonating; try to save pushpage
    3. Have other modules than the one where I am creating the pushpage open in other tabs (Core, Website, Academic, etc.).
  • @Sondra Berry Yes this is the same problem. We have tried saving very frequently. That has helped some, but we have definitely had times where the entire issue was lost in spite of saving frequently. I am not sure about having multiple tabs open in other modules. I will take a look at that. I derive some comfort in not being alone. For some reason I was not able to find that thread in my searches before I posted. Thank you for the link to the other thread.
