Advice on converting a constituent into a non-constituent record

I'm in the process of cleaning up our database and have found several (about 1,800) records that are full constituents but should be non-constituent relationship records. I’ve come across articles/discussions for converting a non-constituent record to a constituent record but not the reverse. If anyone has a best practice for this, I would appreciate you sharing it. @Michelle Lacey Unfortunately, there isn't an easy way to do that. The best way that I'm aware of would involve exporting the data out of RE, importing in non-constituent relationships and then deleting the constituent records. Obviously, if you do that, you will want to be extremely careful since you don't want to delete any important data!

If you use the ImportOmatic Module, you have the ability to demote constituents to non-constituents. You can pull your records into list management via a query and demote from your list.
