Circumventing long lines

We would like to use something like a tablet with a barcode scanner at our front desk in order to scan admissions in instead of making them wait in line if they already have a ticket.

Has anyone been doing this? Do you also use it for members? What hardware are you using (tablet and scanner)?

  • @Shane Holmes we don't necessarily a tablet, but we do have a USB 2D scanner at 2-3 open registers/computers, to quickly scan them in Daily Sales. It does decrease transaction time since they are not pulling out cards or cash.
