Querying on Giving Totals

Hello, everyone!

I am trying to set up a query (which will then be used to automatically refresh a group) that looks at everyone who gave X dollars over the past 18 months. I see fields for “year to date," “last year,” and “lifetime,” but no more flexibility than that. Is there a way to query for giving totals over different ranges of time than those?

    @Philip Nawrocki, thanks a lot! However, I'm looking for giving totals across all gifts within a time range, rather than information about individual gifts. I haven't had any success yet! Maybe there isn't a way to do it.

    @Ken Willey you could always export to excel and do a sum on all the transaction amounts. That would give you the totals.

    I even looked in Reports, but the closest thing I found was the Donation Form Timeline Report in Reports Classic. Unfortunately, that doesn't give the time range you are looking for.

    Another option is to use your CRM/backend DB and pair it with Power BI to generate what you are looking for. If you have a data team, they should be able to help you with this route.
