LO/RE Integration View Original Gift

While I have four years of RE experience, I have just started into LO at my new org. I tried searching but cannot find an answer to this question.

All of our donation forms are in LO. If someone enters a gift with tribute and includes an acknowledgee, and then I process it through the plug-in in RE, is there anyway to see what the donor originally entered through LO? I know how to check things in RE to make sure I'm matching the tribute and match the requested acknowledgee to the relationships we already have in RE. When I'm processing the tribute letters sometimes I want to be sure the name(s) match what was originally requested. Is there a way to do this?

My motivation for the question is we already had a relationship entered a certain way and I am not certain whether that is how the donor had it typed in the donation last week. I just like to double-check myself sometimes. Thanks!

Hi Miki,

Yes you can. Go to luminate and enter the person who made the donation. Once you're in their record, click on interactions and scroll down find the donation. I always sort by descending date if they have lots of interactions or use the default type filter. Once you find it click on the name in the subject field and it will open and show you every field from your donation form filled out.

@Patti Posey thank you for the response! I did get into the Interactions. While it told me the gift was a tribute it did not have the specific tribute information. I think this is something I am just going to have to adjust to (quickly!) and maybe start screen shotting acknowledgees when they're different than what we already have. Thanks again!

There's a report in LO's report writer that can output the tribute message as a column. I can't remember the specific one, but it'll let you export all gifts and all messages.

@Miki Martin Perhaps try the Tribute Report in Reports Classic to see if that might provide the data you need.
