Newly added Membership Categories not showing in DBV

Now that Tables are located in web view, I have entered my updated Membership Categories there (instead of database view).

I went into the database view records to add the memberships to the constituent records, but the new Categories have not appears as values.

Chatted with support, and decided to give it a while to sync between the systems. But now that it has been over 2 hours, I would have thought the Membership Categories would be showing. Still not showing.

The values in the table are marked Active. I feel like something else is missing. Has anyone else experienced this? Or is there some type of Knowledgebase article that explains what to do (as I'm only seeing information on this for Database View)?

I think you have a misunderstanding here on the “table of membership category”, and to be honest, yet anther disappointing display of lack of knowledge in BB support rep. @Erik Leaver not sure if this is something that can be reflected up-ward to support manager.

The table of “Membership Categories” is a list of selectable values in the drop down for creating a New Membership Category, inside RE > Configuration > Membership Categories. It is NOT the same as creating a new membership for a constituent and selecting a Category.

“Poor naming” but, you can think of the table > Membership Categories is category OF membership categories.

That said, after you enter the new entry in web view > Table > Membership Categories, go into database view (immeidately is OK), and go to Config > Membership Categories, and either open an existing membership categories or create a new one, and in the Category field, you will see the list of value in the drop down.

@Alex Wong Yes, it is was the Config>Membership Categories. My Programs were already set up, I just needed to set this other piece up. Thank you Alex!
