Issues with funds not auto populating.
Has anyone else encountered an issue with funds not auto populating into Raiser's Edge from GiveCampus? When I go to apply the recurring gift in RE batch, it leaves the fund blank but will fill in the campaign. This is odd because one generates the other. Anyone encounter this or have ideas to troubleshoot this?

@Keeley Hanson How are you bringing the gift data from GiveCampus into your RE batch?
Does GC have the fund #? Is it possibly dropping leading zero? Does it have fund name? Is it named exactly the same? Are these split gifts?
When you say one generates the other. All funds are tied to the same campaign as a default? It works only if it's one-to-one both ways to generate both ways. Do you have defaults set for your batch?
If you click through the gift record does it populate. There are settings for things to auto fill by row or when cell is entered.
Hard to be more specific without knowing more.

@JoAnn Strommen All great questions: Yes, GC does have the correct fund. We double checked to make sure they were in the drop box and they are. I download the form as an excel document and then import it into the batch. When doing the batch, when I hit apply, I find the recurring donation, it has the fund listed there. Here's a screenshot for an example:

Once I click the correct recurring gift, (you can see the checkbox on the left and the fund is listed) it will generally fill in all the information in the batch. The fund is tied to the campaign so it's odd that after I click the correct gift, the campaign will populate but not the fund. Not all the gifts do this. Trying to figure out why it does this on some funds and not others.

@Keeley Hanson We have had same issue with fund not populating for various pay methods, EFT, check, etc. for a pledge payment. Gift entry person has complained to me numerous times as it is especially frustrating when it is a split gift to multiple funds and each has to be entered manually.
This may provide an answer for you.

@Keeley Hanson I had this issue before. It was due to a user option…fund pulling from fund ID as opposed to the fund description I normally use in batch. Once I changed it, the batch populated as expected.
