Receipt Amount in regards to DAF's

I am curious how you use Receipt Amount for DAF's. Do you enter the receipt amount as $0 and mark as do not receipt or do you enter the receipt amount the same as the gift amount and mark as do not receipt?

To be safe, we put it down as $0 as well as using Do Not Receipt as the status.

@Dina Sorrentino I really think this comes down to the structure of your database and how the records are set up. My organization doesn't change the amount, but has a special letter and an attribute that account for these gifts.

@Dina Sorrentino we count as a grant from the DAF Sponsor (i.e. Fidelity Charitable Fund), and soft-credit the DAF Advisor. We don't thank the Sponsor, but we send the Advisor a letter that lets them know we received their recommended grant.
