What is the best way to report on Donor Life Cycle?

I need a detailed and summary report where i can list who is in each donor life cycle category (acquired, retained, recaptured, at risk, lapsing, lapsed). How do others report out on this? I don't see anything in the reports that does this. I know it's available in NXT Reporting / Overview, but the best to my knowledge that does not take into consideration if a gift is a soft credit. When we run it we get people who pay through a 3rd party but they show up as at risk, lasping etc. when they are not)

Best way is custom report, by exporting data (either from dbview query or SKY API) and then create report by transforming the data in Excel, Power BI, or other reporting/visualization tool.

more difficult by best is automated report through SKY API and Power BI integrated into RE NXT

if the learning curve is not what you are up for, then manual export from dbview query or export module and manipuate the data in excel.

you can always hire Blackbaud to create the custom report for you, OR use a Blackbaud partner to automation this for you too
