Gift Aid Claim - Help Needed

We have been processing Gift Aid claims at the gift level for years, but this never picked up any gifts for Gift Aid refunds. We recently had a session with a Blackbaud consultant who advised us to change the main query to be at the constituent level instead of the gift level.

This change successfully started picking up refunds, but it also includes unposted gifts, which we cannot claim on. There doesn’t seem to be an option in Business Rules to automatically exclude unposted gifts. Since our query is now at the constituent level, I can’t simply exclude supporters with unposted gifts—some of their other gifts are posted and eligible for the claim.

I would really appreciate any advice or, if possible, a video call with someone who successfully manages Gift Aid claims and refunds while ensuring that only eligible gifts appear in the claim.
