Post to General Ledger

Has anyone recently started experiencing difficulty posting RE transactions to the general ledger? When I run the pre-posting report or try to execute the posting process, the process spins & spins and eventually needs to be terminated. In the three years I've been using RE/FE, I have not experienced this until now.

I have not heard from my finance team member who does posting that there is any issue.

Posting is done in dbview of RE, which can be extremely slow dependent on “load” on blackbaud server. Also, did you check and expect to be a lot more gift to post than normal?

If nothing else, open a Blackbaud support ticket.

Hi Mary, our org is integrated and has not been experiencing any recent issues running the pre-post. Our usual protocol for unexpected slowdowns or other problems is to try it on another machine if possible. If it's just the one computer or you can't test it on another, we cycle the power and exit and logout out of citrix and all BB stuff completely. Anything past that we usually reach out to Blackbaud support.
