The Buzz: Pumpkin Spice Edition

Good morning Community!


Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we're appoaching the magical time of year where the weather starts to cool down, the leaves in the trees turn brown, and everything becomes pumpkin flavored or scented.  Maybe this is a USA only occurance (What say you, EU and UK friends?), but there are enough pumpkin spice flavored items in the US for us all to share - several times over!


We'd like to know what special flavors or scents are your favorite in your area.  Comment below and let us know.

Freshly brewed coffee, FTW!  (I don't do any syrupy flavors.)

But coffee paired with a slice of freshly baked pumpkin or apple pie, still warm from the oven, is a scent & taste delight. Even better if consumed outdoors, where sunshine and the nutty scent of fallen leaves and chrysanthemums in bloom adds to the whole magical experience.

Not complaining though - pumpkin pies will be everywhere and I'm ready : -D.  


I don't know who the angel is here at my org,  but someone makes a couple pans of pumpkin chocolate bread this time of year and puts it in the break room.

We aren't the USA, EU or UK, but here in Canada things definitely get pumpkin spice crazy! I look forward to my annual Thanksgiving pumpkin pie-making (and of course, eating - with plenty of maple-cinnamon flavoured whipped cream!).

We've got pumpkin bagels, pumpkin cream cheese, pumpkin Cheerios, pumpkin Twinkies, pumpkin spice taffy and popcorn. All things Pumpkin Spice! And I love it.

I don't like coffee, but a friend took one for the team and tried a pumpkin spice latte here in the UK and that's how I learnt that it's not actually pumpkin flavoured, just the spice that goes into pumpkin pie flavoured - which was a little disappointing because pumpkin pie isn't a thing here.

Not a pumpkin fan here, but I do love spices, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, etc. It is apple season, too and that is my favorite anytime of the year.
