Parsed Name on Donation Forms

The 'Parsed Name' function has not once proved effective for our organization. It automatically generates a full name that more often than not is just two first names, and then a "Mary Mary" file is added to our database. I would propose including an option to turn this OFF for all online donations.

@Taylor Goodson What donation form are you using? RENXT donation forms have separate first name and last name fields for the main donor. Is it the tribute name you're having issues with? Are you seeing the parsing in Online Data Review, or are you using automatic matching and you're seeing this in gift batch?

That has been my experience as well. The parsed name function very consistently suggests names for tribute records that are wrong. It's not clear to me what problem this feature is meant to solve.
