Gifts in Web View Question

There are three features in the RE Database view of Gift Record screen that are extremely important to our work and wanted to confirm that there are plans to make these features available in the web view before the Database view is shut off.

1. The ability to edit the Comment Section in the web view (the Reference Box in DB)
2. The ability to see and edit Gift Type and Gift Sub Type in the web view.

I hope they are being planned to be moved to WV.

I know that there is an idea in the ideas bank requesting the 1st feature you mention (editing comment/reference). There is probably an idea for the second one too.

Please go to the idea bank and vote for these ideas. The more people vote for them and, if possible, add a comment explaining how the feature is used by their organization and is critical to their workflow, the better chance of it being made available in WV sooner than later (we've seen that with other features like query list, for ex.).

Additionally - the developer team behind RE NXT is very focused on building out all things related to Gift Management at the moment. There are a number of released slated for Q1 2026 that should help in that area.

Another small thing - Gift Type and Subtype are visible in WV currently. At the top of the gift record in the summary header.
