This is such a great list of Idea Bank Ideas, Austen!

Even though in the past it's felt like shouting into the dark, we have seen in the last few years that Blackbaud really is paying attention to the Idea Bank and using it to better understand our organization's use cases and needs. If you have the bandwidth, in addition to voting for these ideas, add a comment detailing why this Idea is important to you and your organization. This is how we get the functionality we need! User your voice and let Blackbaud know what to prioritize!

Some of my favorite ideas in this list are: Add Advanced Search Functionality; In webview query, adjust how you view one of fields; Open Pledge Payment Record from the Pledge Record, Convert All Search Fields in RENXT to click/hit enter to search instead of auto-search.

I agree, great list! Some really important features here.

If I could add one: Add GFLink field to Query output

This is a critical field if we're to be able to build reports involving pledge payments and write-offs in tools like PowerBI. Without this field, there's no way to link the gift records for the pledge payments and write-offs to the original pledge.

We also need the Constituent preview tab back in gift batch entry to verify things like head of household, spouse soft-credited, grad year, and contact info in case of updates.

Thanks for adding the link. Also you can click on the name and see the entire record and that helps some. I really miss being able to see their giving from the pull down menu.

You are right, but it is so much slower. Especially on a giving day, when I'm getting a lot of new addresses and spouses submitting gifts through our online platform, I need to be able to fly through that data. Having a way to spot-check without going all the way into the record was invaluable as a time-saver. Plus, it really helped protect against easy mistakes like selecting the wrong record when there are several generations in the same family with the same name. I would be over the moon to get this in NXT.

Austen, thanks for this…something else I've noted, is that there is so much duplication on ideas in the bank, just worded differently. I'm not sure if it helps, but I've added comments with the other idea numbers, hoping that will trigger the idea bank folks to link them together.
