Tribute Link Error - Unable to post batch

Received a gift through the NXT Online on the New Forms. The email copy confirms there is a tribute on the gift, however the error I have with the gift that does not allow me to approve the batch states:

' A request was made to add a gift with a date that is not within the range for its tribute with ID 'XXXX'.

The ID listed is for another constituent file, not the tribute file. The batch shows the Tribute Section as gray and blank.

Have anyone had this issue arise?

@Hannah Love While I have not had this specific issue, I did have an error with a tribute and no message showed about why the error. It turned out that the tribute I was trying to connect to had been marked inactive (didn't know that was even a thing). I went in to database view to make it active and that solved my problem. For your error, I wonder if you adjust the dates on the tribute to include the date of your gift if that will remove your error and potentially get the tribute to display?
