Continuing the Blackbaud CRM SKY UX Modernization Journey

We are excited to announce the latest Blackbaud CRM SKY UX Modernization release. This release builds on our initial launch on May 26, 2026, and brings additional high-value Blackbaud CRM capabilities into the modern SKY UX experience. The focus of this release is to further expand functionality, improve feature parity with Classic Blackbaud CRM, and enable users to complete more of their daily work without switching between experiences.

Bringing More of Blackbaud CRM into SKY UX
Our goal with the SKY UX modernization effort is to provide a modern, intuitive, and accessible experience while preserving the powerful capabilities and business processes that our customers rely on every day. This release continues that journey by introducing enhancements that support list builder capabilities, constituent management, relationship management, and in-product guidance.

Key Features

• List Builder Functionality: Data lists in SKY UX now support List Builder capabilities, enabling users to create, save, manage, and reuse filtered views of data. This enhancement provides greater flexibility for analyzing information and working with constituent data directly within SKY UX.
  
• Contextual Help Within SKY UX: Users can now access Help content directly within SKY UX, making it easier to find product guidance without leaving the page they are working on.
  
• Expanded Relationship Management: The Constituent Relationships tab now supports adding, editing, and deleting relationships for:
  • Individuals
  • Organizations
  • Groups
  • Households

These enhancements allow users to manage relationship data directly within the SKY UX experience.

• Enhanced Constituent Overview Experience: We've added two new tiles to the Constituent Overview page:
• Opportunities: Quickly view opportunity-related information for a constituent.
• Primary Relationships: Easily access key relationship details at a glance.

These enhancements provide faster access to important information and help users stay focused on their fundraising activities.

• Marriage Options Page: The Marriage Options page is now available in SKY UX, bringing another important constituent management capability into the modern experience.

This release is another step forward in our ongoing modernization efforts. What You Need to Get Started
Customers who meet the following criteria can begin exploring the new SKY UX experience today:

• On Service Pack 42 (SP42) or later
• Hosted in Blackbaud Cloud Operations 
• Using Blackbaud ID

These foundational elements support a more secure and continuously updated experience.
