Web View Gift Batch Error when Tribute with Acknowledgee is applied to the gift.

We received gifts of remembrance for a constituent. In Web View I went into the deceased's record and created the Tribute with Acknowledgee via Web View.

Then I created a new gift batch in Web View and applied the tribute to each gift (same tribute, with the same acknowledgee on each gift) When I tried to save the batch, it threw the error: There were issues with the contact: A request was made to add a "gift with tribute acknowledgee with relationship ID" that does not exist for the tribute with ID '19271'

What does this error mean when in Web View gift batch? How do I even go about trying to fix this "issue"?

This sounds like a bug. I recommend opening a case with support. Calling this to the attention of @Anthony Gallo in case it is something beyond a bug.

Based on my quick read of the error message, I would first confirm that the relationship exists on the tribute's record. If they don't exist, and the new relationship is not being added through this process, that is definitely a bug to resolve. I guess if they do exist and you are getting this message, that's also a problem!

I was getting this same error this week and have added it to a case we were already working on for my recurring gifts. Glad to know I wasn't the only one. The ID #s in the error have absolutely nothing to do with the tribute or the acknowledgee, are completely separate ID's. I advise opening a case so they know this is something more than just myself is dealing with!

So I tried to add a tribute to gifts in NXT and had created the tribute 2 months ago knowing that gifts could be coming in his name. When I went to search for his tribute, it found his sons but not him. I can open a case but wanted to see if anyone else had trouble attaching a tribute that exists but could not be found when trying to apply it.
