How is everyone tracking naming opportunities? Spreadsheets and RE Events seems to be the common options.
can you provide a little more context on what you are trying to do?
when you say naming opportunity, I think of donor supporting a certain project/program where then they are given right to name the building. Not sure if that's what you are talking about

I can't speak to the pricing. I just know some orgs that have enjoyed it.
There's an app in Marketplace called: Naming Opportunities for Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT. I saw a demo and it was very slick, but it is an extra cost.
I'm very curious what others are using as well, so I'm going to follow this thread.
We are fundraising for a new building and have rooms available for naming opportunities. Currently, we are keeping track of this on a spreadsheet. Curious how others are keeping track. Would be great if the gift for the naming could be linked to a platform that can help manage all the naming opportunities available. Then you can see those that are available and those that have been spoken for.

our program fulfillment team is currently doing this on spreadsheet and the org plan is to utilize functionality on NetSuite that will be built out to deliver this kind of functionality.
RE NXT does not come with default ability to do what you want to do, so you will want to check out the tools others have suggested for you.
Another option is to build this out via SKY API and SKY Add-in, which will allow for exactly how your org want to handle, but does require getting a consultant to build it unless you already have expertise in-house.
We did it in Events / Seating / Sections. With the Section being a "Building" and the rooms within in the building being the "seats" However since Seating is apparently NOT moving over to webview, I'm not sure if this scenario is helpul.
I think there is a spreadsheet for us somewhere too, however, a few years ago we decided to put this on donor records. We used Prospect for this by creating a Proposal with purpose=naming and using proposal attributes/description to delineate what space was named with any additional context in Notes. It works for tracking spaces already named, but not for those still available.
