Hello! I have been consistently running into a problem with entering recurring gifts / -pay cash's in NXT and I was hoping someone else might have faced the same thing and has a potential solution.
First off, we do not use Blackbaud Payment Services, or Blackbaud Giving Forms, I don't believe we've even set up Merchant Services. We are a separate entity but affiliated with a university system, so when an online donation comes through, it is collected by their forms and then we get notified via email. It's a strange system to try and explain, but the short version is that we do use any Blackbaud product to actually process the gifts and we do not personally collect credit card information.
The problem then, is that I cannot add any recurring gift to a record via NXT, and I also can't add the recurring gift-pay cash gifts to any existing recurring gift. As a result, I have no choice but to continue using DBV Batch to enter our gifts, but I know that's something that will need to transition to NXT sooner rather than later.
Does anyone have any insight or solutions for us? I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions, since this has been our primary concern with sunsetting DBV.
