Intelligent Tags Question

I'm looking into Raiser's Edge NXT's newest intelligent tags and am wondering if I'm missing something. My fundraisers are very interested in the "Giving Anniversary Approaching" tag, which is supposed to appear when the anniversary of a donor's most recent gift falls within the next 30 days, but when I go to Settings > Intelligent tags and check out the list link of Constituents with tag, it currently says 0. Yes, the tag is active; I did not turn it off. I ran a query of people whose last gift date is in the month of September who have not given anything this fiscal year and came up with 49. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, and would greatly appreciate any insight.

You made me take a peek at this one as well since it seems super useful! But you are right, there seems to be something very strange happening. I cannot figure out how the system is defining Giving Anniversary! I have two constituents popping up with that tag. The one that has me befuddled based on the below definition has the following giving:

I'm wondering if it's a number of things: 1.) Some technicality around when the tag was made active; 2.) If the tag works with certain gift types; 3.) Something mismatching in NXT's revenue settings (Committed versus Received); 4.) NXT's refresh settings not catching up yet.

I'm running a test in my own environment because that does feel like a very valuable tag to share with fundraisers. Seems like it updates daily? I'll check back in if any revelations pop up!

@Kelly Hogan and @Bobby Steurer - I'm glad your team is excited about this new tag, and my apologies that it isn't working as you had expected. Based on the current tag definition, the behavior you're describing does not appear to match the expected criteria for the Giving Anniversary Approaching tag. Could you please create a support case and include example constituent records that should or should not have the tag? We'd like to have the team investigate this further. I'm very appreciative of you taking the time to do this so we can properly assess.

Hello, @Heather McLean, thank you for your post. I created a support case as well. While chatting with BB Support, I also noticed that the intelligent tag description in my environment is slightly different compared to the definition in the Help article, so I included it with the case documentation.
