How to upload attachments to Interactions via the CRM SKY API?

Hi everyone,I am looking for some guidance on how to handle file attachments when creating interactions using the Blackbaud CRM SKY API.Specifically, I need to know the correct workflow for uploading a physical document (like a PDF or Word file) and linking it directly to an interaction record.

* Does the CRM SKY API support a direct file upload within the interaction creation endpoint?
* Or, is there a multi-step provisioning workflow required (e.g., uploading the file first to get a file ID, then linking it)?

If anyone has successfully implemented this or has sample code/documentation links for the specific CRM endpoints involved, I would greatly appreciate your insights!Thanks in advance.

Ganishka,

This is not supported through the SKY APIs. I've seen a few different options that folks use:

* Don't store your file in CRM, instead it to a AWS or Azure and then save the link on the interaction.
* Use the AppFxWebService to send the file (although not the best approach when everything else is using REST).
